For todays highlight our Manticore Service Tech is working on @rockshox Deluxe Select.

Details:
The Piston broke free from the damper shaft, and someone kept riding it. As you can see, the shims are all torched, the piston and IFP are both chewed up, the CounterMeasures spring is nuked, and what isn't visible is deep scoring from the damaged shims in the inner bore of the damper body. All in all, being a lower-dollar "rebound only" model inline shock, this one will be considered a total loss with the cost of repair parts (damper body, damper shaft, complete piston assembly) plus service totaling more than the original shock.

This customer will get a great opportunity to upgrade to a Deluxe Ultimate RCT at just a nominal fee over the originally-quoted service…
