This comprehensive service addresses issues of sag, friction, and side-to-side play, restoring full hydraulic function and extending the lifespan of your investment.

Details of ‘The Whole Enchilada’ Service:

  • Complete disassembly of your seatpost
  • Inspect and clean all moving parts and surfaces
  • Replace upper collar internals
  • Replace inner seal-head bushing
  • Replace brass keys
  • Replace fluid
  • Replace bleed port seals
  • Flush hydraulic line and switch mechanism
  • Rock Shox: Upgrade version 1 and 2 IFPs to version 3, if applicable
  • Inspect and replace all remaining internal seals
  • Reassemble and torque to manufacturer specification
  • Full function test


RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVAL
200/400 hrs
Most manufacturers suggest full overhaul of their seatposts every 200 hours of riding time or at least once per year under moderate use. If you ride in very dusty, wet or muddy conditions your seatpost may require more frequent service.
