‘The Taco Service’ for Shocks

Your rear shock is an integral part of the bike, soaking up the big hits, but also keeping your rear tire in contact with the ground for maximum traction and control. Rear suspension is every bit as important as the front. If you are experiencing air pressure loss, this routine service also takes care of that issue.

Details of ‘The Taco’ Service:

  • Remove and inspect main air-can
  • Inspect and function test shock damper
  • Replace all air seals and glide rings
  • Replace fluid, and reassemble
  • Inspect DU bushings and hardware
  • Inflate air spring and function test shock

RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVAL
50 hours
50 hours may sound like a lot of riding, however if you hit the trail 2 days per week, for 2 hours, you are riding over 200 hours per year! This means the average rider should plan a rear shock service every 3-4 months.
