‘The Burrito’ Service for Forks

Every fork on the trail has some kind of spring inside. Whether your fork has a metal coil, an air spring, or a hybrid system that combines advantages of both, regular maintenance is key. If you are experiencing a loss of air pressure, something feels or sounds broken, or it is time for routine maintenance, your Manticore suspension experts will have you riding again in no time.

Details of ‘The Burrito’ Service:

  • Removal of lower chassis for cleaning
  • Replacement of main fork seals/wipers
  • Inspection of bushings, and all moving parts
  • Removal, inspection and cleaning of all air and/or mechanical spring parts
  • Replacement of all air seals and manufacturer suggested lubes and fluids
  • New external crush-washer/retainer
  • Replacement of lower leg suspension fluid
  • Reassembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications

RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVAL
100 hours
Most manufacturers suggest spring service every 100 hours of riding. Adding a spring service to every-other 50 hour lower leg service is the best way to ensure peak fork performance on every ride, anywhere you go, all year round.
